Submit the online order form
Tell us your contact info, card category (sports, TCG, or mixed), how many cards you're sending, your chosen service tier, and whether you want the art-matched label. Review the baseline coverage and declare additional value if needed.
Get your confirmation email
You'll receive an email confirmation with a unique reference number. Include a printed copy of this confirmation (or write the reference number clearly) inside your package.
Package your cards
Sleeve each card individually, then place it in a semi-rigid holder or top-loader. Use bubble mailers or a sturdy box — do not use rigid card savers alone in a standard envelope, which risks bending in transit.
Ship to VCG
Use a trackable shipping method with signature confirmation for higher-value submissions. Full mailing instructions and our submission address are on the Contact page.
We grade your cards
Your cards are reviewed against VCG's grading standards for their category, encapsulated, and labeled according to your chosen label option (standard or art-matched).
Your graded cards ship back
We ship your graded, encapsulated cards back to the address on your order, based on the turnaround promised by your selected service tier.
Packaging & shipping requirements
Do
- Individually sleeve every card before placing it in a semi-rigid holder
- Use a trackable shipping service
- Include your printed order confirmation or reference number inside the package
- Cushion cards well within the outer box or mailer
Don't
- Ship raw cards loose or unsleeved
- Use a plain envelope without rigid protection
- Tape directly onto a card or holder in a way that could damage it on removal
- Send cash or other non-card items with your submission
