Privacy Policy

Draft placeholder — last updated build.

This page is a structural placeholder, not legal advice or a finished policy. Have this reviewed by an attorney before launch, particularly if VCG collects and stores contact/shipping information through the order form.

1. Information We Collect

When you submit an order through our website, we collect the information you provide, which may include: your name, email address, phone number, shipping/return address, and details about your submission (card category, card count, service tier, declared value).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information you provide to process your grading submission, communicate with you about your order (including confirmation and status emails), and, where applicable, to process payment.

3. Payment Information

[PLACEHOLDER]: Once a payment processor (e.g. Stripe) is connected, this section will clarify that VCG does not directly store full payment card details — that data is handled by our payment processor's own secure systems.

4. Information Sharing

If you join our launch list, we use your email only to tell you about VCG's launch and send your launch discount. Reply "unsubscribe" to any of those emails to be removed.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the site and process orders (e.g. hosting, database, email, and payment providers), and as required by law.

5. Data Retention

[PLACEHOLDER]: Retention periods for order and contact data will be defined once VCG's backend/order-storage system (see README) is finalized.

6. Your Choices

You may contact us at support@vcgcards.com to ask what information we have on file for you or to request corrections.

7. Cookies & Analytics

[PLACEHOLDER]: To be updated once analytics tools (if any) are added to the live site.

8. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this page.
